Derek Sivers is one of my favorite bloggers. He hasn’t been posting much recently as he is working on a new project but his archive is a goldmine when you have the time.
He had a great post today featuring a very simple question:
Why am I here?
It’s a useful question to ask often.
Either it will re-focus your reasons for being where you are, or it will make you realize your reasons have expired and you should be somewhere else.
I couldn’t agree with that sentiment more. I don’t really have much more to add to that but I did just help you kill at least five minutes of this pre-holiday Friday afternoon.
You can read his post here: “Why am I here?”
Why am I here? Why are you here? Why is anybody here? I think it was Jean-Paul Sartre who once said… how do you spell spell Sartre?
